[Well, simulations completely counted as field work. But there was some things that he's done for the Order that weren't just programs.]

Mostly securing resources for my organization, investigating various planets and negotiating with the people so we all could benefit from the exchange. Other times we scouted areas not traversed by anyone, recording data for people to use in future endeavors.

[Illegal arm exchange... finding a planet to build his superweapon at. All of it was important field work.]

I've participated in combat as well, mostly leading other soldiers in the field.

[Bobby hastily started jotting a few things down on his paper. This sort of experience could come in useful later, so they definitely needed to keep it on file.]

That's an amazing track record...! How exactly did you travel between planets?

Spaceships.

[The most vague answer ever probably.]

Large ones, big enough to carry entire cities. It was needed to transport large materials at once in addition to testing my ability to command large amounts of people for specific missions.

[Bobby's jaw literally drops at those words.]

Big enough to carry entire cities...?! I can't even picture it! Were you really in control of a ship like that? With that many people?!

[Hux couldn't stop from preening a bit at Bobby's words. He was incredibly proud of the Finalizer and his command over it. It was a Star Destroyer far more powerful the the old Imperial ships.]

I was. As you might imagine, I had a lot of responsibility placed on my shoulders.

[He decided to not mention the fact that it was also Ren's ship. He was irrelevant anyway.]

No kidding! That's like being mayor of a city and commander for its army at the same time! I have to say, I'm honored that someone with your experience would join a group like ours.

[Granted, if otherworldly experience counted, Bobby would not be a commander at all. In fact, likely the only reason he is commander is that he 'got there first', so to speak, and campaigned for the position when very little was known about the sort of role Otherworlders could even play within the Enforcers.]

[He wondered if Dameron might join the Enforcers at some point. It could give him some difficulty later on... he'd have to think about it after this. If death wasn't actually temporary here, then the problem could be easily solved.]
