Telepathic IC 'Inbox' and Messenger Bird Reception (Empatheias)
[Catch-all post for one-on-one messages that need to be delivered directly to Bobby, either through the amulets or with a messenger bird.]

Not at all. I just make it a habit to be early on important meetings. [He raised a gloved hand to Bobby and even though his entire outfit was pretty much black with a large overcoat over his shoulders, he seemed cordial enough.]
General Hux.
no subject
Oooh, a general? That's great! You must have a lot of experience in the field already.
no subject
Still, he was actually good at handling and maintaining resources, giving out orders and being calm when things went sour.]
I've been involved with many field operations over the course of my career. [Hux said, his tone still respectable and not giving anything away.] I imagine the tasks the Enforcers partake in will be different than what I'm used to dealing with, but I'll be prepared to handle it.
no subject
That's right! Compared to what actual armies might go through, the Enforcers could be considered more small-scale. We usually just focus on handling local crime, be it through armed raids or through investigation and negotiation.
[Click! The door opened. Bobby stepped inside, then stood by the door as he waited for Hux to enter. There were two chairs before the desk, so the man was free to choose either one.]

[Hux stepped inside and took a seat on the chair to the left. He briefly glanced over Bobby's office, but he made sure that his focus was on the commander. He seemed like an easygoing type, but Hux figured that he held this position for a reason. Hux sure hoped so at least.]

The one thing still putting the 'off' in his office would be the lingering apathy damage. Over time it fixed itself, only to be replaced with fresh effects again. Pinprick holes in the desk, the lamp being a bit more droopy than it should be, items such as pens being drained of color... It's the little things.
Bobby took a seat behind the desk and reached for a sign-up sheet, smiling pleasantly.]
Oh, definitely! The Enforcers played a vital role before we even got here, but ever since Otherworlders started arriving, their job's become a lot more... challenging.
no subject
The damage scattered across his office didn't go unnoticed by him, but he didn't think they were too odd. He just added them up to the commander having bad days every so often, nothing too unusual in the grand scheme of things.]
It's expected. People here with a variety of abilities, some that could crush others in a mere instant. [Like Kylo Ren, that bastard. But at least he was an ally and someone Hux could still use while here. They needed to get along if they were to return to their galaxy and maybe kill a couple of individuals along the way...]
I imagine it's quite worrying to the 'normal' people out there.
no subject
Still, more than a year in this place had taught him that people who wielded magic or something similar were just as 'normal' as the rest of them. Rather, they did things that were perfectly normal to them and their own world.]
It was especially worrying at first, yes. Some of the natives are starting to get used to it now, as are most of the fellow Otherworlders. It's a shame, really, that every so often an incident involving those sort of abilities will occur. If everyone used their powers only for justice, we'd have gained everyone's trust in no time at all.
no subject
[Hux normally didn't care about the trust from random strangers, but he was still attempting to gather allies here. There was no First Order to fall back on after all.]
no subject
Right you are! I'm glad that you see the importance of our work!
no subject
[This interview seemed to be going well. Good. He was fully confident that he could get accepted into this organization.]
I'm willing to work long hours, to put aside any of my personal matters if duty calls. If you need me to cite any specific examples in order to expand on my credentials, I'd be happy to as well.
no subject
I'd like that, actually! What sort of field work are you accustomed to, exactly?
no subject
Mostly securing resources for my organization, investigating various planets and negotiating with the people so we all could benefit from the exchange. Other times we scouted areas not traversed by anyone, recording data for people to use in future endeavors.
[Illegal arm exchange... finding a planet to build his superweapon at. All of it was important field work.]
I've participated in combat as well, mostly leading other soldiers in the field.
no subject
That's an amazing track record...! How exactly did you travel between planets?
no subject
[The most vague answer ever probably.]
Large ones, big enough to carry entire cities. It was needed to transport large materials at once in addition to testing my ability to command large amounts of people for specific missions.
no subject
Big enough to carry entire cities...?! I can't even picture it! Were you really in control of a ship like that? With that many people?!
no subject
I was. As you might imagine, I had a lot of responsibility placed on my shoulders.
[He decided to not mention the fact that it was also Ren's ship. He was irrelevant anyway.]
no subject
[Granted, if otherworldly experience counted, Bobby would not be a commander at all. In fact, likely the only reason he is commander is that he 'got there first', so to speak, and campaigned for the position when very little was known about the sort of role Otherworlders could even play within the Enforcers.]
no subject
[He wondered if Dameron might join the Enforcers at some point. It could give him some difficulty later on... he'd have to think about it after this. If death wasn't actually temporary here, then the problem could be easily solved.]
